For anyone who has only viewed the site in which case we don't have your email address, here are the details of the arrangements for David that went out in an email last night.

Dearest Friends and Family of David Welch,
It is with great regret that we must share the news that David has lost his battle with brain cancer. He passed away Wednesday, January 7th at 6:22 PM in the company of his mother, father, brother and sister in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of his mother’s home.
He remained comfortable and at peace throughout his last days and hours, but looked more at peace and like the David we all remember and love after he was gone. We remained with him after his passing and he had the familiar slight grin that many of you know. We take comfort in knowing that he is now whole again and no longer must fight this terrible battle. We are also especially proud of all that he has done for the fight against brain cancer and to help those in similar circumstances.

The viewing will be on Tuesday, January 13th from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
David’s funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at:
St. Barnabas Episcopal Church

Annandale, VA 22003

The service will be on Wednesday, January 14th at 11:00 AM, with interment in Eden Cemetery in Crescent City, FL.
